How do I book in?
My books are currently closed. If you’d like to be notified when they reopen, you can join my waitlist here.
Where is your studio located?
Brunswick - close to Jewell station.
Deposits
After we confirm a time, I require a $100 deposit to secure your spot, which must be sent via PayPal within 48 hours. Deposits are non-refundable.
However, they can be transferred to a new appointment if you reschedule, even last minute due to sickness or emergencies.
Custom designs
I love creating custom designs that align with my drawing and tattooing style to ensure we’re both happy with the final result.
When submitting your design idea, have reference images ready to email once I respond to your booking form. These could be photos, your mock-ups, or examples of my previous tattoos you like—anything to help get us on the same page.
Can I see the custom design before my booking?
I don’t email designs before appointments. We’ll have plenty of time during your session to discuss and make changes together in person.
Traveling to Melbourne?
If you’re visiting within a specific timeframe, email me with your travel dates to secure a spot.
I’m not in your area - can I buy a design to get tattooed elsewhere?
Unfortunately, I’m not offering digital designs at this time. If this changes, I’ll announce it through my mailing list.
Can I get multiple tattoos in one session?
Yes! Booking multiple tattoos in one session is cost-effective and convenient for healing. I also offer discounted rates for full-day sessions.
Can I purchase a voucher?
Yes, vouchers are available for any amount (studio minimum is $200 for the first hour). Voucher holders can book at any time. Head over to my voucher page to see what they look like.
Do you use coloured inks?
Yes, we can also do a colour test prior to see how it heals in your skin.
Will you tattoo other peoples designs?
If you have permission/a tattoo ticket and it’ll work in my style, yeah! Send it through.
Can I get a quote first?
Once your booking form is submitted, I’ll provide a rough quote based on your design and placement details.
Is your flash one offs or repeatable?
All flash designs are one-offs and will not be repeated (unless booked as matching tattoos).
Can I ask questions before I book in?
Feel free to reach out via Instagram DMs or email with any questions before booking.
Do you offer free touch ups?
Yes, I offer free touch-ups. Send me a healed photo one month after your tattoo, and we’ll find a time.
I want to get tattooed with a friend - what’s the best way to organise this?
For matching tattoos, one of you can fill out the form with both names. For different tattoos, submit separate forms and mention each other’s names in the notes.
Can I use numbing cream?
I don’t work with numbing cream, but I use Bactine, a numbing spray, mid-session if needed. My tattooing technique is already gentle and pain-minimized. But if you’d like to use a specific cream, let me know :)
I’m all booked in but I want to change my flash or alter my design idea - what do I do?
No problem! Email me before our appointment if you’d like to tweak your flash or custom design idea.
Is your tattooing practice environmentally conscious?
My black ink and balm are vegan, and our cling wrap, razors and ink wells are plant-based and biodegradable.
What areas of the body do you tattoo?
I tattoo everywhere except genitals and armpits. I especially enjoy tattooing hands, fingers, and ears, as hand-poke techniques are great for delicate areas. Ribs are limited to smaller, minimal designs since they take more time.
Accessibility
The studio is located in Brunswick, conveniently close to public transport. While the studio is wheelchair accessible, please note the bathrooms are not.
Scent Policy: We typically use room sprays and incense, but with prior notice, we’re happy to accommodate a scent-free environment.
Accessibility Features:
- We have an electric bed for clients with specific mobility needs (weight capacity: 200 kg).
- I can also use Auslan during your booking.
Neurodivergent-Friendly Space: This is a welcoming space for neurodivergent clients. Please let me know how I can make your experience more comfortable—whether it’s a quiet session, low lighting, frequent breaks, or providing fidget items. You can include these requests in your booking form.
At the booking
Can I bring someone to my booking?
The studio is small, so it’s best to just bring yourself. If you’d like to bring a support person, they’re always welcome—just let me know beforehand so I can prepare and ensure there’s enough space on the day.
If you and a friend both want to be tattooed during the same appointment, mention it in your form, and we’ll make it happen!
Aftercare
General Healing Tips
- The tattoo may scab and itch during the healing process, but please refrain from scratching it.
- Avoid submerging or soaking your healing tattoo; no baths or swimming for at least 2 weeks.
- Keep your fresh tattoo shielded from direct sunlight to prevent sunburn; sunscreen may also affect its healing process.
- Ensure your hands are clean before applying any aftercare products during the healing process.
- Cream options include Bepanthen Tattoo Balm or Nappy Rash cream, Dr. Pickles, Hustle Butter, or a fresh jar of coconut oil. Use what feels right for you or has worked well in the past. Avoid scented moisturisers or vaseline/petroleum jelly.
Saniderm (Second Skin)
- Leave the dressing on for 4-7 days but remove it if it starts peeling off, if irritation or redness develops underneath, or if sweat accumulates underneath.
- To remove, peel up a corner of the dressing preferably in the shower, as warm water eases the adhesive off. Slowly pull the film across the skin while holding it taut.
- Clean the tattoo thoroughly with soap (Dr. Bronner's, QV/cetaphil or anything mild) then air dry or pat it gently with a clean paper towel before applying a small amount of cream.
- Apply a healing cream of your choice 2-3 times a day for 2 weeks, ensuring not to oversaturate the tattoo. You should be able to see the tattoo clearly after moisturising.
- Remember to clean your tattoo with warm, soapy water during your daily shower throughout the initial healing period (2 weeks).
Cling Wrap
- Keep cling wrap on for 2-4 hours after your new tattoo has been wrapped - or when you can access a clean sink/environment.
- Remove the cling wrap and gently wash the tattoo with unscented soap and warm water. Air dry or pat dry with a clean paper towel.
